Big Post this week. Lots is happening this week.
First off, I have been asked my many about how my bodybuilding show went. To quickly summarize, there were not many people in the masters divisions (where I won Gold), so i also entered the 30+ division and got Silver. I had fun, but definitely found that that entire industry focuses only on how you look not how healthy you are. It was a great experience, learned tons, but definitely not the lifestyle I enjoy.
I also "forgot" that I have Crohn's disease. It has been so well managed by my clean eating that I haven't had a symptom in years. Well the carb up on Thursday and Friday absolutely destroyed me. Still paying for it. So even eating the "fun" food was not enjoyable to me. Went right back to my regular good.
If you are interested in reading my long experience it will be posted under the Blog section of the main website.
Two exciting things are happening at Bytown for November.
1- Remembrance Day. Coach Victoria will be running a gauntlet for those interested. 11 Hero workouts over 11 hours. It will be up on the schedule, you can do a couple or all of them, up to you. Information attached at the bottom of this message.
2- ROWVember is coming up on November 1. This is a free rowing workout as well as some skill drills to get more efficient. Myself and a couple members are already signed up. For those not officially signed up, I will be posting the workouts here.
