Most people who know me know that I eat a pretty simple and repetitive diet. Partly because I enjoy the food, partly because I enjoy the results from it. I have tried many diets over the past and after lots of experimentation I found what works best for me and my lifestyle.
Well I am about to change that for the month of April. I have decided to try strict carnivore diet for a month. That means for me only beef, eggs, and a little dairy. Only spice is salt, and also going to cut the caffeine for the time as well.
I will be posting updates as to how this goes. I am expecting the caffeine withdrawal to be the worst, and I eat a fairly bland diet as it is so the food adjustment shouldn't be that hard.
I am not sure about the long term effects of the diet, but short term I can deinifely see some anti-inflammatory, especially if transitioning from a standard american diet, as well as increasing protein content.
I find the more I have experimented with various style of eating, besides being able to better relate and understand what someone else is going through, I always pick up a couple good points that I can use to further refine my current eating.
Remember, its about finding out what works best for you, your goals, and your lifestyle.
I'll keep everyone updated.
