I like having little challenges at the gym. It’s not as daunting as having to prepare for a competition, it’s easy to squeeze in, and normally the barrier to entry is pretty low. You get to push and test your limits, and have a whole lot of fun at the same time. Rogue Fitness has put out some great challenges, if anyone was around when we did the 50 Cal Echo Bike challenge you might have some PTSD. I know personally that one had me on the floor questioning my choices.
They just released a new challenge, a strength challenge. You can pay to enter and win prizes, or you can just test yourself. The goal is simple, in 1 day you test your Bench Press, Squat, and Deadlift. If you can get over 1000lb for the males and 750lb for the females you a winners t-shirt. Or, just do the challenge at Bytown and win bargain rights over your fellow members.
