Semi-Private Personal Training: What is semi-private training? Well with group classes you get your time divided amongst 12 people doing the WOD. With personal training you get 100% of the coaches time dedicated to you and a customized program, but its much more expensive. Both of these options are valid depending on your needs.
But there is something missing, what if you just need a little bit more attention from the coach to work on something? This is where semi-private training comes in. It is limited to 4 people who are training at a time. If could be with friends or family, or by yourself. The coach will then help each person with the exercise selection and technique to better accomplish their goals. It is like a more intimate class where you get to work on what you want/need.
Right now we are offering it at 1pm as a test and if there is any morning demand we will also start doing some at 8am.
Weekly Nutrition Tip: If you ask most people they believe they are eating healthy. But if you asked them how many calories they are eating, how much protein or fiber they are getting, they will most likely just shrug. I have a love/hate relationship with tracking food. The hate part is that some people can become obsessive with it and weigh everything down to the last gram and stress out when they can't find the macros for their food. I take a liberal approach to food tracking, good enough is good enough. Don't obsess over it, but log for about a month a quarter just to see if things are still on track. This keeps you honest with your serving sizes and you get a nice little overview of a months eating. You can clearly see where the areas to improve are and knowing yoru numbers makes it much easier to make the little corrections that will make a big difference.
